Sterilisation Campaign in SJL- April 2025
Help us save more dogs' lives
Sterilisation Campaign in SJL- April 2025
We couldn't be happier for having successfully helped to sterilise 99 wee animals. This was possible thanks to a joint effort with Peruvian charity UPA (Unidos por los Animales), who supported with 30 sterilisations and provided anti flea medications. The rest was on us!.
We are very grateful to our kind and generous donors for appreciating and trusting our efforts in helping vulnerable communities. Sterilising even one dog or cat saves thousands of future live from the streets. Visit our Instagram to see more about this and other events!
Sterilisation Campaign in Jicamarca- February 2025
We keep going with our efforts in changing the lives of strays in Peru, this time we sponsored the neutering of 36 wee animals in the event organised by our friends of UPA (Unidos por los animales), a Peruvian charity that is leader in promoting the welfare of domestic and wild animal life in Peru. Visit our Instagram to see more about this and other events!
Sterilisation Campaign in Chilca - December 2024
We did it again! We sponsored the neutering of 14 wee friends in the event organised by Voz Animal in their premises, which is home to many of the no longer strays that they rescued.
Neutering is the solution to the overpopulation of strays, Huge thanks again to all the volunteers.
We are all united in this journey.
Sterilisation Campaign in Los Olivos - Lima - October 2024
We are glad to share that we sponsored the neutering of 36 wee animals in the event organised by Voz Animal Peru in Los Olivos. We couldn't thank enough the volunteers that arranged for the post-operation "care" of some of the strays. Without volunteers and local neighbours of the strays, this wouldn't be possible.
Sterilisation Campaign in Chilca and Los Olivos - March 2024
This time we contributed to the neutering events organised by Voz Animal Peru in their refuge in Chilca and in Los Olivos, sponsoring the operation of 18 wee vagabondis.
We are glad we can help manage the future population of strays in Peru!
Paws up🐾!!
Feed the strays - Sept 2023
We started in Sept 2023 this amazing "Feed the strays" initiative, which consists in arranging for local volunteers of different zones of Lima to provide the local strays with fresh homemade food, which the same volunteers would prepare and deliver. And as we know the number of strays is too big and our resources are limited, we supplement the freshly cooked food with dry food so we can reach as many "vagabondis" as we can. Sometimes when not possible and for easy logistics in remote areas, we will only provide dry food.
We care so much for the "vagabondis" and although we cannot take them all out of the streets, at least we can keep them alive and prevent them from suffering hunger.
Our delivery of food to the strays is on a best effort basis depending on our financial and physical resources in loco. We hope though to keep going with this initiative covering different areas of Lima as we grow. If you are interested in knowing more or have ideas/questions on this activity please contact us!
Sterilisation Campaign in SJL - Lima - July 2023
Another successful neutering event conducted this year with 101 animals neutered! This event was again possible with the coordination work of our main partner Voz Animal Peru (NGO based in Lima) and the local volunteers that dedicated their free time to make difference to society!
Sterilisation Campaign in SJL - Lima - April 2023
This is one of the first projects we have supported; a sterilisation campaign organised by Voz Animal Peru (an NGO based in Lima) and a group of local volunteers from the Alqo Wasi Association. San Juan de Lurigancho (SJL) is one of the most overpopulated areas of Lima , where the number of abandoned dogs and cats in the streets is high.
With our financial support, the local team was able to sterilise a total of 122 dogs and cats through this campaign.
We want to end the vicious cycle of having dogs and cats that are born in the streets, live in the streets and that also die in the streets. With your help, we aim to scale up our sterilisation efforts across Lima, working with local NGOs who are already carrying out this work on the ground to engage local communities and increase awareness. Our main partners in Lima are "Voz Animal Peru" and "UPA" (Unidos por los animales) who are experts in running sterilisation campaigns.
We look forward to a Lima where animals are not exposed to the dangers of the streets, do not suffer hunger and physical pain, we want a Lima with healthy animals that have a loving family that can provide for them!, that family could be us, it could be YOU!
